Our Craftsmanship
Rustic Furniture Tasmania is a small, local workshop
creating custom timber pieces with character. Every job is
built one at a time, with a focus on solid construction,
honest materials and a finish that feels at home in
Tasmanian spaces.
We specialise in one-off pieces rather than mass production.
Whether it’s a statement dining table, a benchtop with resin
detail or a simple coffee table with beautiful grain, we’re
chasing work that’s challenging, detailed and built to last.
From the first idea to the final coat of oil, we take precision
and care with every step. If you’re after something a bit
different, we’re keen to talk through your ideas and see what
we can build together.
Who We Are
We’re Jack Ross and Will Tinker, working together as Rustic Furniture Tasmania, a new small local business based in the Huon Valley. We’ve lived here all our lives and take a lot of pride in building work that reflects the character of the place we call home.
With a strong background in joinery and hands-on building, we focus on pieces with real character – interesting grain, honest materials and solid construction. We take precision and care with every project, from the first sketch to the final finish.
We’re especially drawn to work that’s challenging and a bit different: high-end, one-off pieces that demand time, problem-solving and attention to detail. If you’re looking for furniture that’s carefully crafted and made to stand out, we’d love to work with you.
